Livingston’s Garage
Department works tirelessly to ensure the City is always working. From
maintaining generators to fabricating specialty tools, this department makes
sure that every City department has just what it needs to better serve the
community.

The Garage Department fabricated the
bed of a retired sewer maintenance truck to be used as a flatbed truck for
miscellaneous hauling.

Emergency lighting, a radio and rigging
were installed on two new service trucks.

The department installed emergency
equipment on new police patrol cruisers.

The Garage Department fabricated and
built specialty tools needed for City department jobs.

The department was responsible for
maintaining 11 generators that supply electricity to various City facilities
during power outages and for maintaining and repairing more than 135 pieces
of equipment used by various City departments.

The Garage Department also maintained
gasoline and diesel fuel supply for all City-owned vehicles and equipment.
